In the hot sunbaked country side villages of Punjab I found myself in my childhood at an old Bhabhi’s house, one of the many that were dreadfully inevitable for me and my Gameboy addicted siblings of any visit to India. my people adore the Bhabhi as she was getting us our tea as a courtesy collapsed onto the floor. “What was my sin!? What was my sin!?” She shrieked and sobbed while heaving to take a breath. In the hot sunbaked country side villages of Punjab I found myself in my childhood at an old Bhabhi’s house, one of the many that were dreadfully inevitable for me and my Gameboy addicted siblings of any visit to India. However as we sat there in the hot sunbaked courtyard, sitting in between bales of hay and the indoor cows that my people adore the Bhabhi as she was getting us our tea as a courtesy collapsed onto the floor. “What was my sin!? What was my sin!?” She shrieked and sobbed while heaving to take a breath. Servants and the myriad family members rushed to get her off the floor and get her to lay down, she was in her latter years and beginning to loose touch with reality they told us as they apologized profusely, she thought she was still a little girl in British partition.

In the bible Adam and Eve committed a great sin, Eve ate the apple and both were kicked out, marking their future children with original sin something that Christian theologians would lament for centuries within their stuffy corners of Europe. However for the people of color of the world they also were marked with another great sin! The sin of being born onto some of the most resource rich lands on earth that a western capitalist needed.

By now us Marxists are well aware of the story of imperialism, monopoly capitalism within the most advanced sectors of the world combined with finance capital, this lead them to look for new markets to conquer and invest their ever growing capitalism, which lead to the scrambles for colonies. Africa, Asia, and the middle east soon became consumed by great empires under colonies and with nowhere else left to expand the great colonialists of the world began to fight each other for a redivision of the world’s colonies. But what did this mean in terms of a human cost?

In terms of a human cost it meant that the peoples of the world that were under European domination had committed a great sin, as the Europeans forcibly with the gun cracked open new markets in their justifications to do so marked the colored people of the world with a second great original sin, the sin of being in the way of their endless seeking of capitalist reproduction.

As we look onto the pictures of Congolese rubber mining slaves or cobalt mining salves in the modern day we ask what sin did they commit? Why be born in the way of fire stone and apple’s profit incentives.

As we look onto the pictures of Vietnamese villages gassed to suffocation under agent orange and machinations of Americas most deadly machine against rice farming peasants we ask what sin did they commit? The sin of daring to stand up for self determination!

As we look unto the Palestine people, pictures of cats and dogs eating dead bodies off of the road, hearing the harrowing tales of Hind Rajab the poor darling little girl trapped in a car for several days with the decomposing bodies of her cousins we ask what sin did they commit? The sin of being in the way of a savage Israeli real-estate developer who wants to sanction of their land, kill their people, and build a strip mall with a shitty burger king and Hilton hotel on top. The sin of being born in some of the richest land on earth, and being in the way of the monopoly finance capitalists needs to reinvest their capital within the war sector (military industrial complex). The sin of daring to fight back for their land, fight back for their self determination, and fight back for their right to exist not as second class citizens within their own lands.

And finally what sin did the Bhabhi commit? Being born under the dying British raj and being enforced to go on a great displacement along with millions with the partition of the Punjab.

That was their sin! Not terrorism, not barbarity, not some phenotypic racist stupidity and inability to govern themselves. All of these are bullshit justifications for their true sin, being in the way of the profit motives for some rich white bastard sitting in Europe. And one day that original sin given to the people of color of the world will be washed away, purged from the earth with the wind of revolution under the immortal science of Marxist-Leninism.
